Foreshadowing, anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

Weapons Given to Iraq Are Missing–
GAO estimates 30% of arms are unaccounted for

Sorry, but I love the Washington Post.

Please see my post, Fear. Violent Fear.

It’s okay.
Just an extra 190,000 AK-47’s lost in the hands of our enemies.
No big deal. Not a problem.
Just another couple thousand American lives.
It’s alright. It’s alright.

I loved Fox’s take on it:
“We can’t assume that the weapons have fallen into the hands of the enemy.”

Goes back to the, “Makes an ass out of you and me…”

I love how they can say they just didn’t have the resources to track the serial numbers of these weapons. How does that happen? If rural gunshop owners who have no clue how to work a computer can keep track of this stuff – then the military should have at least some clue on how to do this.

I do agree on the not assuming thing, but don’t you think that if the weapons were in the hands of well-wishers, they would have informed the U.S. gov of their whereabouts?

    That’s what makes me suspicious.
